Formerly the Bus Station, the 1966 historical building was transformed into a Modern day Bank. With only 80% of the demolition work completed and the project at a stand-still, Pinnacle had the opportunity to join the team.
The interior scope of work included constructing a second floor for future tenant lease space. The structure is a combination of steel and CMU including two stairwells and an elevator all of which were required to be tied into the existing concrete structure. First floor (Bank) finishes include metal studs/drywall with Raco trim; combination of slate, granite, painted and stucco finish on walls; slate and granite volumes; millwork is three color stained MDF with stainless steel trim; and coordination of bank equipment installation.
Exterior work included modifying existing masonry openings; installation of storefront system (entry height approx. 25 feet); the finishes are consistent with the interior and include granite, slate, and stucco. The entry canopies project through the vestibule.
MEP trades were required to maintain consistency through the rough-in phase as all work is exposed. The conduit is architecturally laid out to be uniform and pleasing to the eye. Light fixtures are an interesting combination of industrial, high tech and conventional.
