For the uninitiated, "The Real World" is the granddaddy of reality shows. It debuted in 1992 with the simple but dramatic concept of putting seven people (ages 18 to 24) in a swanky house, giving them all jobs and filming them 24/7. It is the highest-rated cable series among 12- to 34-year-olds, attracting about 4 million viewers an episode. If Pinnacle can work around all this drama, imagine what we can do for you.
The house was converted from a warehouse into a massive red brick structure with a huge neon sign on top that shouts "Austin." Upon entering, you are greeted by a 20-foot Big Tex statue and drawn into a living area filled with bold colors and dramatic lighting. Neon, vinyl and plastic give the dwelling a '70s Jetsons feel, with a bit of good-ole cowboy funk.
The colorful palate extends beyond the living room into an open kitchen and living area accented with intergalactic lighting highlighting a custom tree stump breakfast table. Golden mosaic glass tile surround the “not so private” communion baths, three large bedrooms are connected by a "pod" room complete with a “tell all” round bed. In addition to a creative indoor pool the street side patio is complete with hot tub with and adjacent bar. The space is completely wired for viewing of every nook and cranny and is equipment with a sound proof interview/confession room.
Construction of the space was completed in less than 30 days with non stop activity and double crews….Drama??? No way…. a fun challenge with many rewards!
