Home to the University of Texas men’s and women’s golf team, the Academy is located in Steiner Ranch and is surrounded by the beautiful, natural Texas greenbelt. The building is approximately 5,000 s/f but the 30’ height gives the presence of a massive structure. Covered in Texas Limestone, slurred plaster and meticulous wood features, the building is topped with Santa Rita clay tile. The 10’ custom bay doors fold open to create a practice range but when closed they are the perfect finishing touch on this beautiful building.

Entering the building you will be in awe of the Venetian plaster walls trimmed in beautifully stained wood. These finishes lead up to the 30’ wood lined ceiling naturally illuminated through the windows and accented by night through glowing lights.

The locker rooms are lined with custom wood lockers, built in media area, break area and surrounded by a comfy lounge area. The men’s and women’s locker room are divided by a functional study hall. Each room maintains the same finishes of plaster and stained wood.

The coach’s offices have a more intimate setting with carpet, shorter ceilings and access to the range. The hitting bays are equipped with all the latest technology enabling the staff and players to evaluate every swing. The turf floors create a fully functional hitting area. This unique facility brings flare to golf training and is a true one-of-a-kind.
