Formerly Austin’s warehouse landmark, Mezzaluna, Capitol Brasserie is now known as Austin first Brasserie, a French café serving simple meals in a hearty space! This was Pinnacle’s 8th project with the San Gabriel Restaurant Group and the 32nd with Dick Clark Architecture.
The entire front of house was “gutted” from floor to roof deck. The build back is filled with all the finishes you expect from a fast-paced café including a beautiful curved bar topped with white marble, beautiful half wall’s highlighted with frosted glass and sassy brass, and stunning wood columns with back lit glass panels. The walls are filled with massive custom mirrors, the floors are mosaic tile throughout, and the traditional globe lighting encapsulates the energy. The wonderful finishes extend through the restrooms with new fixtures, mosaic and wood partitions.
The exterior experienced a refreshing face lift. Latte painted brick, lengthy red awnings, romantic lighting and an inviting sidewalk café.
